Baby V: Maternity

This Mama emailed me about a month ago requesting info on a nb session for 

Baby Ethan who is due to meet this world in late May. 

After plugging her into my calendar and chatting back and forth, her kind words and funny tales quickly made realize that someone special had found me and that we would have a ton of fun for their very special nb session. 

About two weeks later, she emailed again explaining she had changed her mind and decided 

she wanted a maternity session. 

I was thrilled. 

I LOVE maternity sessions. 

There is something so magical and special about a baby growing inside of their Mama... 

and the special bond and unity you have when you're pregnant. 

I never miss being pregnant... ( yes, I'm fibbing! ) 

We shot this session at the place where this very fun, loving, down to earth couple had their first date. 

I LOVED this couple... and I cannot wait to meet their creation.

Chandler: Senior

I met Chandler years ago when her Mom started babysitting my godson. 

Through the years I've been able to see this girl grow into a beautiful, classy, fun, outgoing, lovely young lady ... 

And I was so excited to get her in front of my camera. 

We talked briefly about her vision and ideas - 

About 15 minutes before we were supposed to meet, I had a vision of this gal - 

In yellow flowers. 

I made a last minute phone call to a fellow photographer/ friend and texted.. 

" Tell me where I can find a field of yellow flowers." 

I then called Chandler and explained my idea -

"R" Family; One +Two = Three

I was thrilled when Lynsey asked if I would photograph their family 

when their new addition made his debut. 

But with a cold that made it's way from one family member to the next, that little window of "newborn" time for a newborn session came and went... so .... 

Instead we focused more on this growing family and capturing this time in their lives. 

These people are beautiful, and their babies are just perfect. 

It was a fun, loving, exciting, on my toes-kind of session, and 

I loved every single bit of it.
