Happy Birthday Olivia

Two years ago today our beautiful niece entered this world.

I will never forget those first moments we had with her. Watching her Uncle Paulie soaking in the sweetest pride and joy as he looked into her eyes. The first time I held her in my arms. It melts my heart remembering those first couple of days of her life.

.. and now.. she is a thriving, spunky, full of attitude, two year old girl!

Here are some pictures we took when we celebrated her special day.

We love you Ollie girl - and can't wait to see what your third year of life brings you little one.

Its Tea Time

Tables draped in vintage table coverings, placed with china and silver

Tea sandwiches, croissants, crackers, and cheese

Floral dresses and big hats

.. are all things that make up the recipe for a perfect Tea Party Shower

I am so blessed to have such a loving family who all contributed to celebrating our little girl entering this world.

You know who you are. I simply say Thank You, from the bottom of my heart. Thank You.

A Moment Captured -

My sisters and I were preparing for the shower, and during a small moment of silence ( which are far and few between - you can imagine with four girls!) - there was pure silence. Cole was no where to be heard in the back round.

We all snuck around the corner, and here is what we found.

It is a " A Moment Captured" that I will forever remember. - My sweet baby boy.

San Diego Time

For the weekend Cole and I decided to make a escape, and headed straight for San Diego where we were able to have some good, quality time with Jon, Jess, and Ollie.

I was horrible at using my camera because to be honest, I was simply enjoying myself too much to do so. Please forgive me!

I was able to get a couple of photos while visiting the zoo.

Thanks guys for the great visit. Can't wait to do it again soon <3

Mommy Turns 26

It was a perfect day from beginning to end.

This year Daddy and Cole surprised me with Golf Clubs for my birthday!! For dinner we joined our family for some pizza, cake, and some good quality time with those that we love.

Words could not express my gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in my life. Its those "special people " that make days like these easy, and one to celebrate.

My Aunt Karen, who is also my godmother, wrote it perfectly in my birthday card. She pointed out that although this is a day that brings such a horrible memory for us all, it was a day that brought pure happiness to my Mom. It was the day she gave birth to her first child. Her first daughter.

Now that I am a mother, I fully understand and appreciate those words. For that, I celebrate. If for anyone, I celebrate it for my Mom and Dad.

This was the first year since her passing that we had a birthday cake - and it was a yummy one =) Here are some pictures that were taken through the day and into the evening.
