The MacGilvray Family

Mike is a cousin to a cousin. 

Usually we just refer to eachother as 'cousins!'

 Makes the introducing process much easier.
and, we've known eachother our entire lives, so really.. we are cousins =) 

He is also a good friend. 

His wife Erin, is just as sweet as she looks.. and the two together created Ashlynn Paige. 

I was so excited to photograph this beautiful family of three! 

This time, it was at the beach!

There is nothing that makes me more warm inside then photographing a new little baby. 

Well, I think I might take that back. 

Giving the Mommy and Daddy pictures that will keep and love forever, 

a little piece of time that they will forever look back on and smile..

that might fulfill me just as much. 

This is the Kelly Family. 

And the little "bookworm" you see below, his name is Ryan!

Since Daddy was a fan of all sports, it was only fitting to display their new addition in a jersey! 

I know I'm a bit redundant on the subject. But, I can't help it. 

This is why I love what I do. 

The love and happiness these two felt, having their very own creation ... 

To be apart of this with them. To be able to give them a little piece of time in their lives that will by far be one of the most important times.. there are no words to describe how honored I am to be chosen for such a thing.

and now we have everything!"

Paul and I don't always agree. We hardly ever see things from the same angle. 

( In my opinion, that makes it much more interesting! ) 

One of the few things we both very much wanted, was to have a baby right when we said 'I DO!'

I will never forget the feeling of reading 'pregnant.' 

It is by far, one of the most exciting feelings one could ever feel.

Just like feeling your baby move inside of you.

The time I spent wondering what our baby would look like, well!! Its endless. 

Would it be a boy or a girl? Whose nose will he/or she have? 

What will he sound like? 

Will I be good enough for him? 

There is nothing in the world, not one thing comes close-- to being pregnant.

Meet Michelle and Evan.
They are expecting their first baby, who is a boy, in June.

This Mama to be was one pretty girl, and the Daddy was unbelievably adoring to his love.

Jenica Clissold joined me today on this shoot.
My good friend Nikon accompanied us, and the two clicked.
The pictures you see aren't only my own, but also Jenica's.
She too seems to have a 'eye' for special moments...
 and the theory that it doesn't matter what camera your shooting with, but the person who is behind it.. apparently that is true.
And I love that it argues with the idea that my Nikon is a
'fancy point and shoot! ' 
-Yes, fancy it is!
